LANGLEY DOG WALKER

SAFE HAPPY WALKS & CARE FOR YOUR BEST FRIEND

Meet Our Team

Marissa and dog

Marissa, Owner

Marissa has been doing professional pet care casually for the past 5 years and finally decided to pursue her passion full-time and open Langley Dog Walker. She has completed Pet First Aid training with Walks & Wags Pet First Aid and the Dog Training 101 Course from Jean Donaldson’s Academy for Dog Trainers.

If you ask any of her friends, they have never met anyone who loves animals quite as much as Marissa. She has been a dog owner for 18 years and first convinced her parents to let her get their family dog, Bailey, by writing a persuasive speech at her grade 4 Speech Festival Competition. After bringing home the gold medal her parents finally said yes to a puppy. She is grateful for the joy and companionship pets bring to so many people’s lives, including her own.

Jessica, Dog Walker & House Sitter

Jessica has been an animal person since she was a kid. Furry friends always put a smile on her face! She loves walking her dog Mocha (a maltese-poodle who is still a puppy in her eyes) and thought, why not walk more dogs?! Walking and dogs? The best combination in her opinion. She is sure to give your furry friends a good time and will care for them as you do.

Arianna, New West/Burnaby Dog Walker & House Sitter

Arianna has been caring for pets of her own since she was young. She has had some exotic pets including lizards, sharks, chickens, hedgehogs, and a Himalayan pig! Arianna is known for her love of pets and for the outdoors. In her free time she rows competitively, plays accordion, and explores the outdoors. She is gentle, kind, and caring when able to adventure alongside new four-legged friends. She is stoked to meet you and your pet!

Janeva, Dog Walker

Janeva loves all animals, large or small. She grew in a home with family dogs and cats. She is passionate about making sure your pet gets the attention and care that they deserve. Janeva looks forward to meeting your furry family members and making sure that your specific needs are met. Currently she is a proud fur auntie to a new family addition, a golden retriever puppy. When she is not walking dogs, Janeva can be found outside hiking or running, or curled up reading a good book.

Sarah, Dog Walker

Sarah is an animal lover, even so much that at the age of 10 she convinced her parents to let her go vegetarian after sharing many convincing (and disturbing!) videos and documentaries. Sarah has always had more than 3 animals in the house, and has had a total of over 9 pets (dogs and cats)! When Sarah is not cuddling or walking a furry friend, she is teaching music, acting, and speech arts to students of all ages, reading a great book, or getting a good workout in at the gym (followed by some sushi of course!). Sarah cannot wait to become your pet’s new buddy!

Michelle, Border, House Sitter, Dog Walker

Michelle has been a dog lover since she was a little girl. Growing up, she would spend hours upon hours reading dog encyclopedias, and would be that weird kid pulling her stuffed animals on a leash. Fun fact, her childhood dream job was actually to be a dog trainer! Now, Michelle has been blessed to own her very own dog, an Italian greyhound girl named Benni (named after “Benni and the Jets”) with the quirkiest & sweetest personality ever. When Michelle isn’t spending all of her time with her puppy and her cat, she is a full time wedding & pet photographer! She loves photographing love, and especially photographing people with their furry children.

Madison, South Surrey/White Rock Dog Walker and Doggy Day Hiker

Madison has been an animal lover for as long as she can remember. She’s had almost every pet you could think of (dogs, cats, bunnies, toads, salamanders, you name it!). Madison is currently a parent of two very fluffy kitties, Marco and Ozzy! She’s excited to one day rescue a dog. Madison is a full-time wedding photographer, so you can guarantee she’ll take lots of photos of your pup! When she’s not behind the camera, she’s outside hiking, making a good cup of coffee, or hanging out with friends. Madison will love your pet as much as you do!

Reviews

We have a blind dog so having someone come in to stay in our home is the best for our girl. Marissa took great care of Kona and we will definitely recommend her and use her again!

We have used Marissa a few times in the past to dog sit for us. Our boxer was a challenging dog that required careful handling as she would be aggressive to other dogs. However Marissa took such good care of Juno and made sure Juno was well taken care of and also safe as well! She always gave us updates and was great at communicating to us while we were away. Highly recommend her and will use her again in the future!

Marissa was fantastic! She stayed at our home to look after Syd while we were away on vacation and kept us updated with photos. We were a bit anxious to leave our girl Syd but once we left, felt she was in good hands and we can tell Syd had the best time with her new friend Marissa! Marissa left the house spotless as well. It was a great experience!!

Marissa cared for my cat Cuddles while I was on vacation. She is an awesome human being & caretaker! I was 12,000km away for two weeks and I received regular updates and photos from Marissa. It put my mind at ease and allowed for me to relax and truly enjoy my holiday. To know she cared for Cuddles as her own touched my heart and I am forever grateful. I can attest wholeheartedly she will be amazing with your pet!

Marissa has been giving private walk to my Samoyed for over a year. She is nice and trustworthy. I’m a happy customer (my dog loves her).

Vincentia S.

Marissa took great care of Barclay while we were away. She sent photos and updates as requested. She stayed with Barclay at our house& was kind enough to take out the garbage and collect the mail as well. She left the house in immaculate shape & even cleaned out the fridge. We would not hesitate to recommend Marissa. She is a very caring and responsible sitter.
